Ok so I was De greasing my trans the other day and it involved me having to spray it off with water. I may or may not of gotten water into my trans where the axles go. So how do I go about getting it out and making sure that it's good to run in my car when I get it finished?

 

just drain it and fill it with oil a time or two, it should be fine,you are talking about a manual right?

 

Ya its a y1 cable trans with lsd. Should I separate the case just to make sure?

 

if oil will drain out, water will drain out, everything is covered in oil in there, I think it will be fine

 

Ok. Well hopefully it will. I'm not doing anything with it for about a month
