Default spark plug question!!

Hey guys,

I picked up the wrong plugs by mistake today, I bought NGK pfr6g-13's for a b18c1 instead of pfr6g11's for b18c5's.

Does anyone know if these plugs are the same except for the pre gap? The NGK website says that the pfrg613's are pre gapped at 0.052 and the pfr6g11's at .044.

Can I just re gap these to .044 or do I need to exchange them for the correct ones? Lastly, does anyone have any experience with the NGK iridium's? The NGK website hypes them up saying that "they are the plugs ricers, I mean enthusiasts rely on"

How are they compared to the OE laser platinums in terms of service life and performance? The website makes them sound like they are superior to the laser platinums, but I'm always partial to OE, but I want to hear your opinions, since there is allot of knowledgeable guys here. Thanks!!

From what I read on NGK plug numbers, the last digits like 11, or 13 should be just the gap difference. Their website has good info on it as well.

Thanks for the reply, I was hoping that this was the case, that the numbers at the end were the difference in gap. Does anyone know 100% that this is indeed true?
