Default car in limp mode, code P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A circuit 1996 Accord LX

Hello all, I have a 1996 Honda Accord LX with engine F22B2. I recently acquired this vehicle from someone who bent some exhaust valves when the timing belt snapped. I did not have the luxury of knowing how the car ran before I rebuilt the top end so my issue could have been present BEFORE I made the repair.

I am throwing a code P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit. Ordinarily I would just replace the crankshaft position sensor and go from there. However, I have been doing a little digging and I have learned that some folks replace the crank position sensor and the problem persists, or then they get another code.

Now, since I have recently replaced the head gasket, exhaust valves, water pump, and timing belt I am thinking there is a good possibility that I have maybe damaged a wire, or a wire became damaged when the belt snapped, or maybe just forgot to plug something in. However, I have gone over all of the electrical and vacuum connections with a fine toothed comb and cannot find any discrepancy. One think that I found odd is that the spark I am getting from the coil is yellow and not blue. I have tried replacing the coil and the spark coming from the output of the coil is still yellow. But I believe the spark is the least of my concerns.

I am asking for suggestions on how to inspect/test the ckp sensor without removing the timing covers. Also, can someone verify that I have a ckp and not a ckf sensor? I believe that I have a ckp, and that it is behind the crank pulley under the lower timing cover, but I could be wrong. Can anyone tell me what all could be throwing code P0335?

Sorry for being such a noob, this is the first Honda I have worked on. Any advice is much appreciated.

So I inspected the ckp sensor and it was damaged by the timing belt when it snapped. Derp.
