front lca question on ek's
Researched and Googled and didn't find what I wanted so posting here. Wondering if the front lower control arms are interchangeable between coupes and sedans. I'm finding sedans that are being parted but no coupes. I have an em1 so dont know if I need a front lca from an ex/si or if one from a sedan would work.
EX and LX sedans did at least, can't speak for DX & VP though.
But otherwise, the suspension is not body dependent. You can swap between all 96-00.

Curious, I wonder what the physical difference is between the cx/dx and lx/ex arms, they both have sway bar provisions. Bushing material perhaps?
That reminds me though, I believe you have to use Si forks with the stamped arms, you'll definitely have to get creative with the end links if you retain the stock bar too (maybe gsr upside down?)
Edit: I didn't notice OP saying he had an Si. You need an Si arm.

CX/DX arms don't have sway bar holes they're cast iron.
EX arms have swaybar holes and are cast iron.
Si/CTR arms are welded steel and they're hollow. They're 1Pc. They have different bushings and a totally different type of sway bar mount. They also have wider shock bushings so they require different swaybars and different shock forks/bolts.

Probably because they were designed in 1992...they worked on 92-95 civica...so they wanted to keep the working design for 94-01 integras. Not sure why they didn't do special arms for the ITR. Probably because it wasn't worth it.
The only ones on the 96-00 civics that are 1pc are EM1/CTR arms. The rest are 2pc.

Guess I'll have to find em1 lcas since the diagrams differ. O well no biggie. The one I got from the store didn't have the sway bar end link attachment for it so guess I'll have to find an em1 being parted or get new ones. Yikes

You can buy CTR arms at a JDM supplier. CALL to ask somewhere like hmotors or jdmenginescorp.com. they probably don't list them on the sites.
Or...buy new EM1 arms from Honda. I think bernardiparts.com had them at a fairly affordable price.

You can get new aftermarket for a reasonable price, then you get new bushings too. Hardrace are ~$250 for the pair with all lower bushings, Moog are a bit cheaper iirc.
I got mine from OReilly w/ bushings for 130. But it didn't have the sway bar end link attachment so it's just kinda hangin there. I'll more than likely buy 2 different ones for an si powder coat them and put polyurethane bushings in them
