I need a new engine in my 94 ex coupe and only want to spend 600 bucks or so, i can put it in myself, one of my rods is messed up and scored the crankshaft so i have to buy a new motor.

 

you can easily get a whole 92-95 sohc vtec swap for that price..so go to classifieds..also check out thepartstrader.com..seriously priced on most days 300 for a sohc vtec long block and 200 for a tranny if u need one good luck

 

600 clams will get you a D16Z6 block. It won't get you a full B16 swap. If that's your budget for the project, and it can't be inflated (like tripled), then regretably, your options are somewhat narrowed. Good luck.
