air conditioning reinstall 99' ITR
Sup dudes,
When I picked up my Itr there was no ac, it was removed by the owner. I picked up a complete ac system from a 99 integra, does anyone have any info or know of a diy thread on how to install an ac system into a DC? Is there any differences because I have an R besides the ac mount? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I did the same thing. While I haven't had it charged and tested for leaks, the install is super easy. Start with the box and work your way around. Everything only fits one day.

I just reinstalled all A/C parts on mine too as they were missing. Got everything off a CL Integra being parted out. Ended up having to get some OEM too.
I used the Acura service manual from here:

Page 1019 is where the A/C starts.

I wish the previous owner would have left the ac in, the 1whp or whatever it gained is totally not worth being uncomfortable everywhere I go...
Yeah, get the accessory install manual for the 97 or 98 ITR and it's simple to reinstall.
Most folks removed the a/c because the entire system is about 30-35 lbs or so. If you get the JDM aluminum a/c bracket delete part, you save even more than that.
