Hey guys whats going on... I went to order my decals for the quarters and rear panel today and its coming up with 2 different sticker part numbers. There is a type 03 and a type 04. Which one should I be getting for an 01 PY? thanks!

Op don't buy those fake ones. Buy OEM the OEM ones have the backing shaped so that you get perfect placement of the decals

 

There is one other option, I'm just as picky as the next itr owner, and I needed a set of itr decals and I stumbled across tegiwa.com and I bought a set of their decals, and the quality was amazing, they use the high quality 3m vinyl, the decals even have the Lil red sparkles in the r just like the stock ones. Holding them up to the OEM ones they look identical, and they have the backing with the template so you can line them up for a factory fit.

The cost was about half compared to stock. If I was ballin' I would buy the OEM ones, but I was taking courses for work at the time so we were on a tight budget, so I bought these and was very pleasently surprised. I even emailed the website and told them they did a great job on the decals.

I will probably buy their mugen replica intake, that is the intake I always wanted. The one on their website looks very nice.

 

Type 03 is for PY and CW
Type 04 is for NBP and FBP

 

I did not have much of a choice. The cost of the decals here in Soth Africa is like $250.

I do have my current decals on the car, so the plan is to use their positioning and make up a template using transfer tape.

 

I painted my itr, and buy new replica decals, but how I can get a perfect placement for decals which are not oem, and don't have backing shaped? Any help?

 

Lol, you should have done what I plan & used tracing paper to make a rubbing
for the decal position, before removing the decals.

I am going to do it anyway, then scan the rubbing in to recreate the shape on my CAD software,
& then cut a template out of transfer tape, either on the CAD table or the vinyl CAM cutter.

I can mail you a dxf. once its done, but it'll be a month or two.

yup... our parts guys are far from the smartest and he told me I had to find out which one. im like isn't that your job to do that?
