Brand New MSD 8253 "Blaster HVC II" Ignition coil.

The "Blaster HVC II" ignition coil from MSD is designed to be used with their series 6 and SCI ignition controls. It is built entirely in-house at MSD and uses an iron U core design with a segmented bobbin for improved voltage distribution. This produces the most current possible with tremendous voltage and a rapid rise time. The solid brass primary terminals are spaced far apart and the secondary tower is protected to ensure good spark isolation. An epoxy compound protects the internal components from vibration and the entire unit sits on sturdy vibration resistant mounts.

Primary resistance, .16 ohms.
Secondary resistance, 630 ohms.
Maximum voltage, 44,000 volts.
