Default 94 civic coupe muffler choosing help!

Hey all I'm looking for a muffler for my 94 civic coupe auto. I have replaced the cat and all the piping resonator etc.. but the guy at the shop did not notice nor did I notice the muffler inlet piping was rusted through and pretty much broke off, muffler was shot anyhow.

So I am on a very little budget looking to spend 55 or less on a new one now I can go to rock auto and pick up a value line stock muffler after shipping for almost $80 but since I share the car with my girl, she likes a little bit of noise as I prefer the stock quite sound.

the car is rocking a total of about 100 hp its not a race car and I don't want it sounding like a fart cannon as I don't find it entertaining that my car is doing 30-35 mph and sounding like a track car.

Currently its a cat straight back to nothing and it causes the whole car to vibrate when it gets really deep its deafening, would anyone be willing to point me toward a mild sounding muffler if possible to please both worlds on this one. thx

$55 or less. I think your best bet is probably to head to the local junkyard and grab one that's a direct fit bolt on to your car. Some aftermarket may require welding which will exceed your budget.

Go to the junk yard, grab a coffee can muffler and slide it onto the exhaust pipe. Use JB weld to keep it in place. Hanging brackets are optional.

Buy a Thrush Turbo muffler at your local Autozone/Advanced, or off Amazon. Take it to a shop, and have it welded on. Done.

$25-$30 on Jegs, $25-$30 from Advance, $25-$30 from Amazon, $25-$30 from Summit...you get the point. Welding will run you another $30-$50, and you'll be done. Quiet (nearly stock) at idle, no highway drone, and a good, deep and throaty sound when you rag on it.

Part #17702 is what you want. 2" inlet, 2" outlet, offset/center inlet/outlet, reversible.

Get a Thrush glasspack, the long red one, actually sounds good on the annoying single cams..

And they are fairly cheap
