ITR master brake cilinder on EK4
I upgraded my EK4 262mm VTi brakes to a 282mm front setup from an ITR. I also wanted to upgrade the master brake cilinder. I now have an 15/16 VTi MBC and tried to fit a 1" ITR one. I noticed the following problem. When removing them, I would expect them to be the same.
But the EK4 one seems to have a guidence pin/pushrod on the MBC, which the ITR one doesn't have. I can bolt everything together, but it seems the rod coming out of the booster or my EK4 is to short for the ITR one. I measure a difference of +/-10mm. Can someone please shed some light why this is? Can I bolt the ITR one to my EK4 booster? I prefer not to remove the booster if it's not needed.
thanks
