I have a 97 awd automatic crv,the trans went out and i have a good 94 automatic integra transmission in the garage,can i use the integra trans and just not put a drive shaft back in for the rear wheels?

 

It probably won't work well if it does. I'm sure the gear ratios are different, making the shift points different. The crv ecu will be confused

You'll get a code for linear solenoid, which the 94 auto tranny doesn't have. You can fool it by plugging it in but you'll need to swap out your throttle body to accomodate the tranny throttle cable. Just some technical theories here.
