Default 95 Civic with O2 sensor Cel code

I have a 95 civic ex sedan with a d16z6 that has a cel on and cant figure out the problem. Let me start with what all has been done. A few moths ago my timing belt snapped and fried the head. So i bought another motor which is also a d16z6 and put it in the car. Ever since i out this motor in i have had a cel for a o2. I replaced the o2 on the header reset the ecu and it came back. Still same code. I only have the o2 thats on the header. I had the same setup on the other motor but it didnt throw a o2 code. The car runs really good just rich as hell. Is there anything else i should look for.

is it possible that some of the housing have rubbed off some of the wires and is now presenting itself after the install? how much oil are you burning if any.
when you replaced the o2, did you replace it with a used, new, bosch?

Post the actual CEL code. Does it return after resetting the ECU?

A single flash can also be a code 10. Short flashes are single digit and long flashes are multiples of 10.

A single long flash is a code 10, IAT.

That's not natural, at all. Is/was the car turbo'd at any point? Do you have the stock PCV system hooked up?

Make sure the plug you're using for the IAT has red/yel and grn/wht wires.

A common cause for this is mixing the IAT plug up with the EVAP purge solenoid (yel/blk and red). The plugs are the same.

The IAT runs on 5V and the purge is 12V. The high voltage melts the IAT.

The car was never turbo . Everything is hooked up the way it's supposed to be. The purge and iat was plugged up the correct way.
