Default Majestic Honda - Confusion about "Discontinued"

So, i've been looking, and I have always looked on majestic Honda, i see "Discontinued" so I just turn my shoulder, but if it says Discontinued, and I can still click buy, does that mean I can still buy that item, and they still have one in stock? Or what? I've always just looked past it, but I saw that the blue buy button was able to be clicked, anybody had any experience with this?

The buy button is always there - doesn't mean they have it. Call them and ask. Placing your order will just stick your money in limbo for a few weeks until they realize it isn't available. Call them, and you can have your answer tomorrow.

if it says discontinued that means it's no longer made, BUT, there is the possibility they, or whoever they get the parts from has one in stock. Its best to call and ask.

Thank you guys very much for the info, I'll give them a call monday and see what they have to say about the part, BUT in the meantime, if you know anybody with a EG sedan Full Nose Mask, and is interested in selling it, let me know! That's what I'm in search of now.

Yeah, call and watch how they'll raise the price for a discontinued item. Regardless make sure shop around on other oem parts sites as well to get the best price shipped.

Oh, you're looking for the nose mask? Good luck finding that at Honda.

Aftermarket, but it doesn't look quite right.

I want a new -OEM- window trim because my new aftermarket doesn't look quite right.

I've installed plenty of aftermarket body panels on other makes and models that fit like crap.

The hood, fenders, front bumper, and lights I just installed on my 94 DX fit amazingly well.

Everything lines up perfectly.

If it says discontinued it means it's no longer in the distribution network. However a dealership somewhere in the country may have the item in stock. In this case you can have your local dealership do a dealer search. Be aware that if you do find a part this way the dealership that has it can charge more or less whatever they want for it.

As far as aftermarket body parts go, I do parts for a fairly large collision shop. CAPA Certified body panels normally fit pretty decent, the value stuff isn't worth buying. As a rule I've found Gordon seems to make the nicest stuff.
