I ordered An aftermarket Exhaust system Offline, it got here and I installed it and NONE of the hangers lined up, the people from the site SWORE it was for my specific car. (98 Honda Accord 4cyl 2.3 Liter Coupe) Other them being absolute idiots and sending me the wrong part why wouldnt this fit?

 

Maybe the mounting spots are different for sedans and coupes? No idea, just a thought

 

Yeah coupe/sedan can be different and which brand? The Chinese stuff usually never fits well

 

IIRC on USDM CG Accords the difference between the two was in wheel base. And only the mid-pipes length was different length, longer on sedans. But otherwise the hangers were the same.

What year of accords did they say it would fit?
Sometimes the CG 98-02s get piled in with the CB 90-93 / Cd 94-97 cars and for the US market the biggest difference is with the rear suspension. CB/CD exhaust routing is different from CG.
