Default almost mpfi ready

Just a few more questions
How come some write ups that say get an Si full wire harness and pm6 ecu still say to mess with the pins and make sure to have extra wire?

And something about a intake manifold bracket...do I need that with my y8 IM & obd1 injectors

then there's the Si throttle cable I still don't have..... Do I have any other options?

I have so far
Pm6 with full engine harness
Obd0 dizzy
Y8 IM obd1 injectors
A6 head & Trans :-)

last question
Will it run a little rich

Well from the si harness, you need the injector clips, and the plugs for the si distributor. You have to still modify your stock harness.
You dont need the manifold bracket, you can throw away ur dx one.
The si throttle cable is better cuz its shorter, fits better on the bracket. You can make the dx longer one work, just its going to look ugly.
Your using obd1 injectors? I wonder how you wire those... i used obd0 inj with resistor box... cuz the box has 4 red wires and a yellow( 1 red to each injector)

And im not 100% sure, but i think if your using the pm6 ecu, then you have to use obd0 injectors.

It doesn't matter what injectors you use as long as they are 240cc.
Injectors are not OBD specific meaning that there is no such thing as an obd1 injector.

There are peak-hold type and saturated type.
Peak-hold is low impedance and requires a resistor box.
Saturated is high impedance and can not be used with a resistor box.

You can check what type injector you have with an ohmmeter.
Peak-hold will measure 1.7 to 3.0 ohms.
Saturated will measure 10 to 16 ohms.

Use the manifold bracket. It supports the weight of the manifold so you keep a good intake manifold gasket seal. Yes, you can run without it, but why?

You can use the DX throttle cable, but as stated already it will look ugly. You just form a big loop over by the shock tower with all the extra length of cable. Also, you either have to flip the Y8 cable bracket over to get the Si and DX cables to work. There is an old prelude or accord bracket you could use for a near perfect fit, but I don't remember which or what year.

Why would it run rich? You aren't adding more fuel and you aren't starving it from air.

I see. So when he goes to wire the injectors, you know each clip has 1 red wire and another wire, what does he do with the red ones, combine them all together? And the dx 2 yellow wires, they just get combined?
Cuz i combined my 2 dx and ran them to the yellow wire on my resistor.

The DX yellows get combined.
If you don't need a resistor box then all the reds get combined and attached to the DX yellows.
If you do need a resistor box, the each red goes to a separate wire on the box.

Oh good to know. I could have ran gsr injectors, but i thought i had to have a resistor box.

Rich from putting 1.6 liter injectors and using a 1.6 liter ecu on and block meant for 1.5 liters

If it does any, my best assumption is that it would be very negligible. If the O2 sensor ever reads 'rich' it the ECU should compensate.

From your first hand experience is it a little sluggish at lower speeds?
