Default How Realistic does this swap sound?

1992 Honda civic 4 door with a single cam automatic transmission

Swap the D series with a B20 mated to an obd1 Integra LS transmission..

my questions:

Is it as easy as plugging in an LS automatic computer?

Are the D and B series, automatic engine compartment harness's the same or similar?

Are obd1 LS automatic computers's chipable/tunable?

Does the transmission mount have to be altered in any way?

Gear selector?

THANKS!!!!

I'm pretty sure that the engine mount are all compatible in b series swaps and with the wire harness as long as the OBD number is the same then you can use it. which b20 are you putting in?

i havent decided... i understand there is a higher compression b20 and a lower compression b20.. id like to find a clean higher compression b20. I also have plenty of obd1 LS donor parts like a distributor, alternator complete intake manifold including fuel rail and injectors...
thanks for your input!

the b20z is the higher compression motor. id only use it if you were going na because its cylinder walls i think can only handle somewhere up to 280ish i think, but thats in danger territory. if you ever plan on boosting it id reccomend getting it sleeved and bored out.

Auto trans won't fit without modifications.

Correct, the auto transmission will not fit without fabrication of the frame rail. With going threw all that work, you might as well swap it to 5sp and call it a day.
