So far I have done more replacements than mods. I have added some 15in acura wheels and a new front grill. When i got the car it had no door panels, a ratty shift boot, very dirty interior, a broken head unit, and both windows were out of the track and one had a bad motor. Since then I have replaced both doors so I have a black car with white doors, which will be painted to match once I get a break in the weather. I put in a new shift boot and sony head unit, rewired the drivers door speaker to get it working again and gave the interior a good cleaning I have also been battling local police with a junk ebay exhaust the previous owner put on. Just put a quieter muffler on this weekend. I am just trying to get it back to stock for the most part. I want a fun, fuel efficient DD for when i can't ride my motorcycle. then maybe once motorcycle season gets here I will start some real engine work.

You having fun with your civic?

Hatster, Outstanding! Bringing it back to life. A true success story. I look forward to hearing more of them in the future.
I am having fun with my civic. Since the rebuild, I am having a little trouble getting the idle to even out. Like you, I am waiting for a turn in the weather to work on it. In NE Iowa there are still piles of snow around the driveways. All in all things are good. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Hey Guys! Im also new to the forum! Had my Honda almost 2 years now. I have a '96 CX hatch, 5sp, and over 215k miles. Fun little car, runs great, and I am hoping to do some good work on it this summer. Mostly preventative maintenance, and then some fun stuff as well.

Yea, I have a high mileage car too, early 200k's. If the engine decides to quit during the summer it will most certainly be replaced with an undecided B series engine. I have really been enjoying having a fuel efficient car again tho.

I am in the Peoria Area, closer to Chillicothe. I am just using mine primarily as a work car right now, and living 5 miles from work doesn't help my gas mileage much either. running an average of 30mpg.
