if you had 4g's and a stock automatic del sol si with 102k miles... wwyd?
Honestly.
Sell the Del Sol for as much as I could and go put a down payment on a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am with a WS6 and a 6 speed tranny.
5.7L beast. with 315 RWHP stock.
EDIT: NOTE: A cam equivalent to the HKS 272 degree cams costs a total of 100 dollars shipped!!!!

first off, do u still want to keep that car?
IMO I would
sell it and get more money + the 4Gs = hatchie with a swap, wheels and suspension

Keep the del sol as my daily drive and buy a used crotch rocket.
If you want speed (which I'm sure you do because stock civics are slow), I would swap in a 5-speed and go turbo. If you want to keep the automatic, you're limited on how big of a turbo set-up you do because automatics apparently don't hold *too* much power (not sure about a WHP #).
If you're more into show and not too fast, then bolt-ons (maybe nitrous, too), wheels and a set Teins would work as well.

Some points:
—The engine has too many miles on it to do anything drastic and still have it last.
—The tranny has the same problem.
With that said, I suggest buying a hatchcrap or 4th Gen Civic, and build that.
Or, if you want to do something hardcore, swap in a D16Z6 with a manual tranny and boost it with GReddy kit.
