hi everyone, you all have helped me tons in the past with general repairs/information on my 90 HF and now i need a different kind of help in the form of modification help. I've never had too much money so i couldnt afford to mod anything until now, but now ill be making some extra money and can put most of it into my car, so my question to you is what should i do? I've looked at some engine swaps like the 'mini-me' swap thread on this site and some others, but i havent really settled down for anything in particular.

So basically, if you have a bone stock 90 CRX HF what would you do with it, in what order, and why.

 

Definitely keep it stock, enjoy the great mpg, and the high reliability.
I would probably further lighten the car up some, with lightest wheels you can get, probably in 13" or 14", all for the best MPG possible (VX or HX wheels).
maybe do some underpans to smooth out the bottom for best aerodynamics.

the money you are saving by using such little amount of gas, put aside, to buy an Si so you can do a swap on the Si, and keep driving the HF for the fuel savings.

 

ok, thanks for the input. Do you have anywhere specifically to buy those wheels? Also the guy who had it before my dad had it put in a liner on the inside to quiet it down. WOuld you take that out? or would it not make a difference for mpg
