Decent list, glad I don't see the typical choices for builds of this section
not a fan of weight adding things such as dyna-mat but I'm sure it'll make the car sound good.

Idk man. 6700 rev limit. Long stroke. Torque without high revs. You might as well have bought a Integra LS. Just my opinion...that motor doesn't belong in an EM1. To me it seems like it takes a lot away from the car's charm.
Think about this example: Why is the Si more desirable than the Integra LS? The LS makes more torque without revs.
I think "better" is subjective. "More desirable" is quantifiable by the amount of people that covet EM1's vs. the amount that covet the LS (nobody).
I don't think his car will be faster with a B20B. He's down about 20-30hp. Sure, the powerband is wider and he's up quite a bit on torque. If the EM1 came with that motor from the factory, do you think the car would have been as impactful? I don't. You think journalists would have gone on and on about how "useful" and "down to earth" it's "homely" power plant with "reasonable" powerband and "totally normal and common" amount of revs is? How the engine makes power with no drama and that it's "stern...stern but fair"? The focus ZX3 had a 2.0 that made torque without drama. So did the EP3. Neither of those cars was as desirable as the EM1.
Think about it like this: Scarlett Johannson probably couldn't help you build a log cabin or fetch water from miles away. She's completely impractical and your life would be easier with a good, sturdy woman. Accurate?
Whether people wanted to admit it or not, the Si was a lot of fun with the 8200RPM B16 with a dramatic VTEC crossover (noise wise). Since when is revving a car not fun? The age bracket for those cars isn't 55 year old men who should have bought a minivan.
EM1s didn't have a particularly good chassis. They weren't fast. They didn't make torque. But besides the ITR, they're the most sought after Honda of that vintage.
/rant. It's all subjective....but I don't think the B20 (especially non-vtec) is the right motor for a EM1 if you really enjoy EM1's.

stopped by a local dealer picked up some parts, got a full set of bushings coming from Energy Suspension.
might be getting a (00 EM1) as a donor car. it was rear-ended beyond repair. should know by Friday.

Hugh_jorgens Just cause it's a b20 doesn't mean it can't rev up past 8200, I have a b20b with a gsr head on my 2001 dc2 gsr it revs all the way to 8500 no problem. A b20 with a b16 head is a great combo and pretty powerful.
