Default Honda prelude heat issues

So my lude never would get hot but it was sitting after it's accident and we took the raitator plug out for our other lude and then when mine was running again we got a new plug filled it up and now it get really hot the fans do come on when it starts getting hot but it dosent always help the water has been filled to the top for a few days I don't understand everything seems to do its job

Search on "bleeding" the system, and check to make sure that your thermostat is opening properly.

Water is your problem as well, you need to stop using just water, and use the 50/50 premixed stuff and bleed that system right.

Water alone under all that heat will steam off and cause corrosion in your system.
