If you want to use S300 in a 5th gen, you will need an obd2 to obd1 conversion harness as well as the proper ecu with S300 installed.

I would also highly suggest a wideband permanently installed and wired to the S300, so that you can log it in Hondata, don't even really need a gauge except for setting up the proper voltage offset.
