Default Best CHEAPO suspension???

OK, so I'm rolling on a set of stock struts/springs with well over 250k on them and HAVE GOT to get at least a set of new struts before my ride falls to pieces. So my question is this: What is the BEST cheapo/no-name set of struts out there that would be OK?

I'm looking at these 3 sets on eBay (never heard of ANY of them)......and keep in mind, I'm only looking at these because they're literally about HALF the price as a set of Tokico HP's or KYB GR-2/Excel-G's

Ultima - http://www.ebay.com/itm/271225143840?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
No-Name - http://www.ebay.com/itm/321312912925?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Any thoughts/advice/opinions are appreciated!!!

Cheers

I had never had a positive experience with Ebay's "no name products" quality, I would save if for the tokico or Kyb's. Best of building!

I would skimp on the eBay and go with actual known products. You want them to last another 250 right? Having a blown shock 6 months later because they were half the price isn't worth it.

How does one rationalize BEST and CHEAPO especially regarding eBay parts?
They are all bad in comparison to known good setups.

If you want to save some money AND save yourself from buying bad parts, stick with the known good Koni/Ground Control combination.

If anything, OEM will be about 90% of the quality of an aftermarket set, with several hundred dollars lower on the price tag (although more expensive than this stuff).

Go OEM or go home.

I think he was after OEM stuff. But! I do agree with the first statement. No name stuff is generally a bad idea.

Go get a set from autozone, lifetime warranty and should only be about 250 for the set. I've used them before on stock suspension and never had a problem. My buddy has a set from them and has warrantied his set at least 4 times in 3 years since he always slams his car and wasn't using extended top hats. No questions asked from autozone, just gotta do the work to take them off.

Thanks for the response guys! If you read my post then you know that I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY TOKICO/KONI/KYB!!! If I HAD the money I would definitely be going with Tokico's.....but spending $550/month on student loans doesn't exactly leave me much to 'save' LOL!!! I've tried to find a decent used set on here and Craigslist and eBay, but people must think they're gold or something because they're asking 2/3 of what they cost new with like 50k on them!?!?!?!?

Does anyone know if you can use 2 right struts on the front? Is the only difference the brackets for the brake lines or is there other stuff that is different?

Never mind, you can ignore this thread......just found some KYB Excel-G rears on eBay for $82 a pair and some Tokico HP fronts for $60 + $52......so full set (albeit mismatched) for under $200! That's something I can live with.....saved $100 off what a full set of Tokico HP's on eBay would have cost
