Fan stays on for 10 or more mins after i shut the car off. Any help?

 

ECT B switch is turning on rad fan control module because engine is hot.
ECT B switch is defective.
Rad fan timer module is defective.

Unplug the ECT B switch and see what happens, right side of engine in coolant outlet, 2 wire plug, [black and white/green leads]. 94

Unplugging ECT B switch, no.

Having rad fan run after engine is turned off, maybe, but only if it keeps running for more then that 10min. and then it depends on how long it runs.

It is "normal" for the rad fan to run after engine is turned off, there should be a label "Caution Rad Fan Can Turn On At Any time" or something like it in the engine bay at rad fan shroud.

If the rad fan still turns on after unplugging the switch, the problem is the timer unit, again, it is normal for it to turn on for a little bit if engine is hot. 94

the fan timer is designed never to run for longer than 10 minutes so if it is that means its bad
