Did our OBD0 Distributors come with an Ignition Coil Spring?
I'm in the process of rebuilding the TD-02u distributor off my 88 CRX HF due to a slight misfire. During disassembly, I noticed there was no spring in the ignition coil or the corresponding contact on the cap. My BOSCH replacement coil didn't come with one, and the online catalogues don't show that they are included with the OBD0 coils; but are included with the OBD1 coils. Were these not utilized on our cars?
I have been searching for a while, but I can't come up with a definitive answer.
Thanks in advance.

I bought a cap for a 1991 integra assuming it would fit my b20 swap, then realized when i went to install it that my car was running the stock civic distributor, which has a spring in the cap contact, and the integra cap did not. also, the long groove in the cap is slightly tilted on an integra cap and straight down the middle on a civic dizzy.
Thanks for the info Speed. When my cap came in today I discovered the spring loaded set up you're talking about. Thanks again
