Default 88 crx climate control swap

Can anyone help me, I just bought a 96 Honda civic climate control and trying to figure out how to install it correctly in my crx. I've already rigged the wiring harness but the 2 heater core wires don't wanna fit with the climate control, is there a way to rig the crx heater core or heater box wires to fit the 96 civic climate control, or do I need to buy a heater core or heater box from a 96 civic to fit the crx. Please someone help.

Good luck with that one, you will need the 96 heater unit if you want to use the 96 control, [step motor is diff., wiring/cables are diff].

Then you kind of need the 96 dash, [so venting fits] also makes mounting the 96 heater control in your 88, [diff. mounting system also].

There will be mods dash or no dash, mods could be made to the 96 heater box/venting to "match" your 88 dash.

So, why do you want the 96 control, doing it properly, [all the above] is a lot of work.

Not saying it can't be "jimmy rigged" to work, wouldn't do it myself, I seen no advantage unless done properly. 94
