96 Accord misfiring upon cold startup
I have a 96 Accord EX and have been having an increasingly annoying problem upon startup in cold(NH) temperatures. The car's misfiring sporadically (both while idling and accelerating) until it reaches normal operating temperature.
I recently replaced the distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires. I have suspected a bad ignition switch for other issues in the past that I've never replaced, but am wondering if anyone can shed any light on this. Also on a few occasions, when the car is supporting other power draws (having the windshield wipers on), it makes the misfiring problem worse. But again, once it reaches normal operating temperature, the car runs fine. Can an electrical charging/power issue be a fault? It's clearly something which when warms up, is fine. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. It is driving me crazy. Not bad for 259K though!
