'94 del Sol SRS / cable reel clock spring question
I am having an issue with my SRS light staying on and am not sure about the exact cause. I have read various things and am pretty sure it could be my SRS Module or the cable reel / clock spring. I originially thought it was where my seat belt buckle was damaged, but I had it fixed and still have the light issue.
I have tried resetting the SRS with a paper clip, but it just comes back. It has been a while since I tried this and I do not remember the exact code. I was wondering if, hypothetically, it was the cable reel / clock spring, would it reset or not? Would there be a particular code for the cable reel / clock spring?
I am wanting to get this fixed ASAP - I haven't driven my car since September due to not being able to pass inspection because of the light. I have been extremely limited on time as I am a Grad student and work two jobs so I really am trying to avoid the trial and error method.
