where to re-install missing "fender stay"?
Hi everybody. I am replacing a very torn inner lining in my driver side wheel-well. I purchased a new lining (part no. 74151-SR3-000), various replacement screws and stuff, and also one thing called a "fender stay" (part no. 60262-SR4-000ZZ). From the name, I assume that this part is supposed to help to stop the lining from ripping loose under the force of wind while driving and having a hole burned into it by the tire... just a theory.
Question #1: Is that really what this part is for?
Sadly, I have no idea where/how the fender-stay should actually be installed. I have the 1258-page Helm manual, but I could not find any discussion or picture of the fender in the obvious chapters.
Question #2: Can anybody give me a description of where/how the fender-stay should be installed? I would also be perfectly happy with a page number for either the Helm or Haynes manuals.
Thanks in advance!

Looking at the parts diagram it has 2 sizable bolts. I believe it should be pretty evident when you are taking it apart and assembling it where it will go.
It's not in any of the FSM manuals I could find. I also believe you should come across it when you take your wheel well out.
Unfortunately, it looks like we aren't going to be very helpful for you on this one.
