Default Don't Post Comments In Pic Post!!

Ladies and Gentlemen. Please do not post comments in the CRX/EF Civic Picture Post. The title clearly says no comments!! I don't mean to be rude but it is annoying when I get online to look at the new pics and it takes a while for them to load and then the only new thing is some kind of comment that could be made through Honda-Tech Instant Messaging. Please take note of this and try not to post anymore comments.

Thank You and sorry for the hot flames but I felt it was nessasary.

Pictures of vehicles should be posted in the thread where vehicle pictures are posted. The purpose of this post was clearly to state that comments should be kept in PM boxes and pictures should be kept in the picture post....

IT SAYS IT IN THE DAMN TITLE !!!

Sometimes I think we have a bunch of punk kids who their only purpose on this board is to post stupid comments or try to look funny. It isn't funny though. Have you all seen it to be funny? No!! So guys quit being stupid and help honda-tech to be a good resourcful forum. That is why I first came to this forum. Keep it good.

Thank you in advance.

I guess I can see your points, but at the same time when you post your pic up there...no one really gives you feedback about your car. I see how its cool to view a whole bunch of 4g's and crx's, but its also nice to have your car 'featured' in a post and check the thread to see what people think. I know you guys were talking about how you dont like the clutter of see my new car posts...but damn...were the crx/ef fourm...we get like 3 new threads a day. Most by people who could have searched. I guess I have mixed feelings about that thread. *shrug*

just goes to show that there shouldn't be a pic post in this forum at all. people see a nice car and want to comment, or people post pics of their car fishing for comments/compliments. why are people too lazy to surf the appearance forum every once and awhile? that is why it is there! a thread full of crx pics is boring and useless..we all know what our cars look like by now...my 2 cents.

I have an argument on that. Feature wise, Honda-Tech has an Instant Messaging system setup for talking back and forth. Also, you can post things in the Appearance Forum and hell, a lot of people will view and comment your ride. A lot more will view and comment there than here. What I like to see in the CRX/EF Civic forum is people asking "how to's", etc. The picture post makes perfect since for people to just show their car and if someone would like to comment, IM them.

If the comment wasn't that great, then I would certainly hope the person IMed me instead of posting it for all to see. That saves embarrassment.

Guys, I just think that we should leave the pic post to just that, a pic post.

Like I said...I can understand both sides of the argument. And when it comes to the Appearance threads...Our ed's and crx's always get burried there. Granted we are the backbone of the amatuer drag world..but most honda drivers dont appreciate our years. Anyway. Personally I think its nice when your car gets a little special attention. How many of you have actually looked at any of the older pages in that thread anyway? I go to the last page every time...So whats the difference?

I mean why dont we just sub-divide it more and have a tranny problem stickey, an engine problem stickey, a suspension stickey etc. That way we would only have to look at 10 posts max on our forums start page! If someone posts pics of their car and you dont want to see them ....dont look at them.

If someone posts a stupid question...ya know what I do...dont answer it. Whats the difference?

-Jake

edit: spelling
