Clutch Arm will not move at all!
i got 89 civic si transmission ready to put things together, i got new throwout bearing and clutch
i cannot get the clutch arm to budge one bit, please anyone with any knowledge about this please help

lube the point the clutch arm enters the transmission case with penetrating fluid wd40.
disconnect the cable and work the clutch arm up and down to free it up. I have had two do this to me.

Check the bolt which connects the fork (that pushes the bearing forwards) to the rod. If its too long it will interfere with the shaft on which the bearing slides.
You can also check the spring connected to the rod and fork. This pulls the bearing back when you disengage the clutch. There are 2 small pins which are connected to the upper side of the fork. If these are not put in all the way it will interfere with the housing that protects the bearing.
If all this is not the case, you can try to disconnect the fork from the rod. Then pull out the rod out of the transmission housing. There is a seal in the housing where the rods goes in. You can then order a new one from Honda or clean it with a non aggressive cleaning agent that doesn't dissolve the rubber and then lube it with some white grease or vaseline.
