New to the scene and was directed here for advice. I have an LS B18A1 from a '93 acura integra with 5 speed cable tranny.
Here's my problem:
Recently, last 3 or 4 days, I've noticed it's hard to shift from 1st to 2nd. Not really sure of the reason. Untilabout a week ago shifted fine. Have had trouble since I bought the car getting it in reverse, but not alot. Clutch doesn't feel mushy, some play in the shifter itself, but replacing the old rubber bushings with polyurethane bushings in a few days. Have been told I can tighten the clutch cable up to see if it has just vibrated loose. Not sure how. Any ideas?
