Default headlights shake?

is there an easy fix for rattling, shaking headlights? i searched figuring this would have been asked a dozen times or even stickied somewhere, but no luck. Seems like a common issue. both my ef's have had this problem. no obvious broken brackets or missing bolts.

Is you engine idle speed correct? Condition of engine mounts? Correct the cause, not the symptom.

Usually the rod which attaches the headlight to the headlight brackets needs replacing. It is the adjustment rod which takes a Phillips head screwdriver. The plastic inside of the piece which attaches to the headlight itself is no longer tight. I had this same problem on an old hatch. Replace that piece from one that isn't loose.

billet mounts in perfect shape. fixed a misfire and its MUCH better, but they still wiggle a bit driving. just a bit of a pet peeve.

The mounts will cause a problem, as the vibration will eminate throughout the chassis instead of the mounts, either fix the mounts (meaning softer ones), or isolate the headlamps from the frame. If they move while driving you have a mounting issue with the lens that requires attention in addition to the comments I just made.
