Default d16 swap in 93 hatch - lagging and Rpms wobble

I have a d16 in my 93 hatch . All stock and it's lagging at 4 to 6rpm. The Rpms wobble too as if it loses power. Any ideas . I have no idea what it can be. Would like to figure it out before I take it to the shop.

First thing to do would be to check your CEL. I had an issue like that before when I got My swap. What I did was change the spark plugs and cables but that didn't help. I changed My distributor and that was the problem. Check your dizzy

I'm going to guess you put in a D16Z6 vtec motor when you say D16. Even though it could also be an OBD2 D16Y8 vtec, or a D16Y7 OBD2 non vtec.

Did you also swap out the ECU or are you still running your stock ecu on the D16?? motor?

Was your stock motor a D15B7 by chance?

When you ask questions concerning a swap you have to provide ALL the information of what was done. Leaving out a single detail can prevent people from isolating your true problem and lead you on a wild goose chase.

What motor swap was done, what ECU was used and what other mods have been done and what was done in the swap (i.e. ran wire from what pin of ecu for vtec)?

OP hasn't been back since he created this thread. I have a feeling he isn't coming back.

Sorry I'm in the army and out in the field right now. I don't have my phone on me all the time guys. It's a d16y7 sorry it has new sparks and dizzy. The ecu I'm not sure about but I can check when I get back. Sorry guys again for not replying. I'm just trying to get some ideas of what it may be so I can fix it when I get back.

Not sure if this is the issue, but the D16Y7 is meant to be at 12*BTDC. Crank pulley, cam gear, and ECU might be the issue (any one or any combination). Can you clarify if you know which specific one of these items were used?

PS
Thank you for serving.
