I wanted z6 for y8 turbo build...can u post pics of them side by side to show me the difference?

Think z6 has 2 oil ports where y8 has 1

It's not necessarily the # of oil galleys, it's the design of them and where they are fed from and what they feed. The chamfers on the oil galleys of the Z6 are MUCH more pronounced that those on the Y8. I'd NEVER run a Y8 crank in any motor that's going to see harder than normal driving conditions. Nor does anyone else who has experience with building D-series motors for performance purposes...

That being said, I have two good Z6 cranks, both out of automatic vehicles, meaning the chances that it was over-revved is much less than one out of a 5-speed vehicle... PM me if interested...
