Default which cam?

I've made a decision.

I can't afford to build a b series engine(buy and build). So I've decided to build up my d16y8. I know what alot of you are goijg to say. why start with a 106hp motor when you can buy a 140hp motor for the cash that you are going to put in the stock mill.

I do have a plan tho.
I can get a intake manifold off of a d16z for free, a friend of mine will sell me his gsr Tb for fifty bucks.
I plan on going for a wild head port, I found a place that would do stage three head porting for under 500$(quality work, a friend has his done at the same place)
now for my Question I found two cams that seem interesting. they're both Crower cams. the first is the 63442

"Stage 2 - Street/Strip with slight lope at idle due to increased primary and secondary lobes. Requires 84166 kit. 900-7500+ rpm."

the second is 63443;
"Stage 3 - Race cams requires cylinder head modifications and ECU tuning. Requires 84166 kit. 1000-8000+ rpm."

I want a good running motor that I can run on the street as well as get decent ets at the track.

PS. I've read all the SOHC posts. I just want to express my ideas, and get feed back.
thanks

I have heard good things about the stage 3. I know a guy that hit 13's with that cam and a 60 shot in a crx with no other major mods. Go for it

I would suggest the stage 2 Just because you intend to drive it on the streets too.

Less problems, less chance of somthing braking, and you'll still pull good ETA's at the track!

cool thanks for the tip 2ktyeR.

but, I had another thought, would it be better to make these mods to a d16z?

if you have a Y8 you should just stick with the Y8 manifold.

I've actually heard bad things about the ZEX cam.. I have a crower cam in my Chevy V8 and it runs great, teh main reason I decided to go for a crower

but I would apriciate all your opinions on ZEX cams
