Default 98 Civic LX - need help with damaged front end

Hello everyone. Hope I can get some help on this as 7 hours of resaerch has yeilded nothing. I bought a 98 lx all stock for 400$ 26xxxx miles and still runs strong. The person that had it before me hit a deer.
Hoping I did the pic right... anyways long story short is radiator support has to be cut out and replaced. I understand how to do the replacement and everything but two questions I have is what are the measurement to make sure frame rails are still straight. Theres no visible damage to them but wanna make sure before I go drilling. Also do I need to have a support bar tacked in or btaced between em when I take the old one out. Any help is appreciated. Only reason im coming here or the internet alone is cause I live in bfe illinois closing frame shop is over an hour away and they wont tell me anything over the phone for me to check myself would rather charge me their labor rate of 120 an hour to check for me

no, you will not need to brace it when removed. the spot welds must be drilled out, there are tons. the easiest way to diy would be to use a level across the front. honestly, for the age and mileage of the car, id crack out a bfh and straighten the existing support. doesnt look horrible in pics

Its mainlt the top bar and middle brace. Use to be a body kit on it and they took the bumper brace out. So it had no cushion when he hit. Ill try to get some pics of the spot im worried about tomorrow but its where the headlight mounts on the inside by the grill both sides are kind of rolled in so when I go to get new headlights I wont have that mount they're only ziptied in right now as is the bumper

I have a parts car with the entire front end if you need anything in Illinois. Tried to pm you, but your inbox was full.
