I need to get a new cv for my 90 ef hatch 1.5. Not sure what one to get. seen a lot of diff post. Do I need to get a 23 or 26 spline count

 

I'm pretty sure if your car hasn't had an engine or transmission swap you won't have to worry about spline count. Pop on down to 'insert local auto part store here' and order a new one. I know autozone and oriellys carry cv axels between $60 and $100.

 

That is true. If it is a 4 speed it's the 23 I believe. If it's anything else it's 26, iirc.
