Icon6 Disengaging AWD tranny 4 my 88' Civic Wagovan RT4WD

I hear I need to disengage the tranny before I tow my Wagon or I could mess things up. It's going to a mechanic thats not far but I don't want to use a flat bed to move it. I'm just gonna get it on a Dolley. If someone has pictures or can explain it real well that would be great. Which way do I turn it the lever, what do I use, etc. It's a 1988 AWD Wagovan. Thanks

And PLEASE!!!! An RT4WD is NOT a Wagovan. The Wagovan was the base model, 2WD with Pleather (Vinyl) seats, no split in the back seat and no fabric on the door panels.
