is this a mini me?

I may have been screwed by my seller for not knowing all the info. I hate a freaking liar. I have a d16y7 head on a b15b2 block. Now here comes the bad news I'm guessing.

That's a non-VTEC head.... so not a "mini-me" not his fault you didn't look at the head for a vtec solenoid.

no, a mini me is basically a Non-vtec block with a vtec head. Others will say it's a d15 block and d16 head.

Ok it is not a mini me are there any advantages or disadvantage for putting this newer head on an older block? Also will the stock 93 ecu work with this setup? I'm guessing I also need the cam gear from the y7?

You wouldn't want to run the stock computer. That is a non VTEC head and your computer is setup for VTEC. It would technically run but would throw codes and not run right. I would find a 92-95 non-VTEC ECU.
