Head Light PROBLEMO - 93 civic - dim bulb
Hey guys, i just purchased this car
1993 Honda Civic
b15 non vtec
For some reason the cars PASSENGER side headlight is dim, even switching to brights it is still dim.
1.) i have checked all fuses- all are good
2.) i have checked 2 bulbs- both were good (tested on driver side)
3.) i have checked most grounds- this is where i think the problem may be. May i get some help as to where the headlight ground may be? Does anyone have a physical picture?
Thanks so much. The halogen bulbs are currently on the car, NO HIDs installed currently
I promise i did as much research as i possibly could before posting. Thanks guys!
Pictures for reference

Do you guys think i should just say F it and get this harness?

I guess you implied you put a known bright bulb (tested on drivers side) into the passenger side and it's still dim?
It looks like the socket is taped up.... I would suspect the issue lies in there.
I know my passenger side had an issue and the socket has gotten brittle, it now has to sit just right on the posts or I don't have a headlight on that side.
I'm just going to cut a used socket from the junkyard and do a solder job on mine to renew the socket.
Maybe that will work for you instead of going the full harness route. Your call though.

Thanks a ton for the reply man, any help is greatly appreciated here. And yes sorry to make that clear you are correct, i checked the bulbs i was trying to use and they are 100% working. Ill start there, it does look like the lines are corroded!
The right bulb had horribly weak signal. I spent about 2 hours tracing it and checking wires. Lets face it, the car is a 93 and just about everything is corroded...
I ended up buying that new headlight kit and BAM!!!!!! everything works perfect!

Something about the passenger side. This makes 3 cars in the 5th gen. Both my 95 and 93 Hatchabck have issues with the passenger side socket. And OP's car is the passenger side. Go figure.

the light dispersion is horrid on them and they blind on coming traffic, why not just get some good regular bulbs ?
