So i changed my oil and forgot to put my cap back on.. I feel stupid.. And drove probably about 5km on the highway before it started to bog out a little (the rpm gauge stared flaking up and down) then would go back to normal i instantly realized i forgot to put my cap on and pulled over to put i back on (oil was everywhere). When i went to start my car it didn't start first try but started on the second crank. I drove home and toped up the oil and seemed to drive fine then went start it in the morning and killed my batterie trying to start it, checked my dip stick and it smelt like gas so i changed the oil then got a boost and it start up drove around my area not to far and it stalled on me again. I called my buddy who wasn't far away and he boosted my car and drove it home and started checking out under the hood. I though oil could of leaked into the spark plugs so i changed those too i started up with a boost first try. I drove it and the bogging still happened ive been checking the distributor and its clean inside.?? Any idea???? the cars seems to stall most when stopped at a red light but happen on the highway too, i just threw it in neutral then into 3rd released the clutch and started up again. Anyone?
