Default RPMS jump high after I installed my CTR Cams. Need Help

Alright, this is what happen. I origianlly had JG cams, but then I decided to have my friend install a new set of CTR cams and Skunk2 sprokets. He also did a a vavle adjustment. When I'm gunning it, for example, at 6 grand it would all of a sudden jump to 7 grand. Then it would go to 6 and half grand. It's weird cause the meter is going up, then it would jump higher and go back. My engine and motor is running fine and strong. It's only when I'm gunning it, is when it's jumping back and forth. Does any one have this problem. Can you help me. Thanks

I'm pretty sure that the CTR cams didn't cause this.
My guess is.. the ignitor. Bad ignitor is the common culprit to the tachometer jumping high like that.
