95 civic - good website to buy an oem catalytic converter?
If you cant' find an OEM one in your price range, I understand Magnaflow is a solid brand and I believe they make a BAR acceptable cat for California (50 state legal).
Don't need to weld if you got the bolt on style. Many cat makers make for the 95 civic. You will probably have to hit the autoparts store for two spring bolts though. They typically are not included but the flex gasket usually is.
What motor is in your 95 Civic? That detail probably should have been in your first post.

I see. Hmm idk im a newb at this.. I just want it to pass smog already so I can register it and drive it around. I think its a 1.5vtec or 1.6vtec I have to double check..
Is your cat under the car or at the front of the engine behind the radiator?
The D15B7 and the D16Z6 the cat is under the car just past the steering rack. Has two springs bolts.
The D15B8 and the D15Z1 the cat is on the front of the engine. Doesn't look like it has spring bolts.
Either way it's a bolt on cat, not welded.
The engine number is stamped on a square part on the left front side of the engine while you are looking under the hood.

Ok my good friend I am back its a d16z6. So yeah behind the engine block under the car. So now question is this. If I want to pass smog, is it better to get an oem 50 state legal one or just by one of these 49 amazon ebay ones? It also has cutstom card legal headers. But thats it.

Do you live in California? If you do then you need Carb compliant. If you don't, then it doesn't matter really.
This one is CARB compliant it says and will fit your Z6:
And this one is non CARB compliant (no California registration):
Big price difference for a little certification.
