Instument cluster from the local junk yard?
I own a 1994 honda accord lx. I want to replace the cluster because firdt the odom and trip meter stopped working. Once I fixed that, the temp gauge has been acting funny. Bled my air cooling system, changed thermo, and replaced the sending unit itself also checked the grounds that were easily accessible. So on another forum, I came up with the idea to just replace the cluster. My question is, do I replace the whole thing or just the circuit board? Here is my local junkyards website.http://www.picknpull.com/part_pricin...t&#partpricing
The problem is the Fuel gauge has a small wire gauge attached to one of the screw holes at the back. If you were to remove the fuel gauge most likely the wire for the fuel gauge will break and you will either need to fix it or replace it.
It would be simpler to replace the whole assembly out of a car.
