ITR Shocks... replace?
I have about 65K on the shocks off my 98 ITR... mostly daily driven with the occasional spirited run.
My question is, should they be replaced around this time? If not, how much longer can they go at this rate?

would koni yellows be a good replacement for the stock ITR shocks
for what spring rates?
Bilstein SP's are better IMHO.

i'd just want a moderate street setup....i highly doubt i'd be tracking or auto-x'ing my ITR ....

If that's the case, get Ground Control coilovers with mild rates. Lower your car as much or little as you want and keep your stock shocks.

I've done 77k and mine are softer. I notice it most under hard acceleration or braking, but it's not that bad. I'll try and get another 5-10k. After that I'm looking at Bilsteins with ground controls and matched spring rate for a street setup.
cant lower that much with std stroke shocks before the shocks become completely useless

GC's lowered 1" or so on stock shocks with 300lb/in all around would be perfectly fine with stock shocks imo.

ITR shocks with ~350-400lb/in rates will take a 2.5" drop without becoming "useless". sure it'll be bouncy, but

i love the way the suspension is now .....but the only thing i want is it to be a little lower ...and less body roll ....thats why i'd rather have spoon progressives and koni yellows
