Battery relocation kit....advantage???
I was lookin at a battery relocation kit for my lude (to the trunk.)
What is the advantage here, weight distribution??? I assume what it supposed to accomplish is bringing your car closer to 50/50 weight distribution.
Which will obviously never happen because everything is up front (motor tranny etc.)
Anyone have this done, does it make any significant difference?

people say better weight disctibution. I'll be moving mine to my trunk because my air-liquid intercooler will be occupying the space that the battery's in now.
mines in my trunk cause of my IC piping.... weight distibution... ****.. just eat some brownies and gain some wight that will put more in the middle..
I moved mine to the trunk for weight distrabution, but had to move it back to meet the Honda Challenge rules, so what I did instead was bought this battery... http://www.gotbatteries.com/Productp...On04=&AddOn05=
Its 13.5 lbs, and you can mount it anyway, upside down, sideways..... Anyways, mine is on its side in the factory battery spot, saved 35+lbs of the front of the car, is smaller so its easier to work on stuff, and starts it everytime, so far even when its been freezing out...
