So yesterday on my day off I decided to take out the dash on my 94 Civic DX to get to the problem of why my heater was barely blowing even though the blower was fine which I did find the problem. it was the A/C evaporator being completely clogged, it now works fine but now when I get in the car after assembling everything back together I turn the key and it starts up but the wipers come on like there set to mist setting but my wiper switch is off, the only thing that works with the wiper switch assembly is the manual wiper when you hold it down but "low" "high" don't do anything but the wipers always stay on once the car is running and I cannot switch them off. fuses are all fine, anyone have any ideas?

 

Well after reading some other posts none that had my exact problem but I did notice someone saying if the wipers are running after you unplug the wiper switch then its the motor. so I went out and the wipers came on like usual but when I unplugged the switch they stopped so more then likely I broke my switch during the dash removal.
