shifter question
ill make this short and sweet. i pulled my shifter box out to check if i snapped a shifter cable i didnt so dropped the trans, put in a new shift fork, put trans back in. one problem i have is that my shifter is slanted backwards a bit and it doesnt want to engage 2nd or reverse. the black cup on the cable is interfering with the shifter and not allowing it to fully engage reverse. does anyone have any insight on what this could be? or what happened or anything for that matter lol thanks in advance

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
^can't be unless it has a K20 or H22. Shift cables, y0.
OP...is there a possibility of the shifter or any component being put on backwards?
