Okay so my Del sol has a non-USDM D16A engine in it and I need to replace the valve cover gasket on it. Now before anyone says something, yes its a D16A...no other numbers or letters and it seems like very little is known on this particular motor, but I do know it exists, cuz I have one. I also know that its almost identical to the USDM D16Z6, but I am wondering if the valve cover specifically is the same, as lettering seems to be slightly different (small Honda, large Vtec writing).

Any info on this block would be great for anyone that has any. Thanks in advance.

 

all honda sohc rocker covers are the same (except the ones with the plugs on the intake side of engine)dimensions so any will fit it so yes the z6 valve gasket will fit it perfectly
